Far Reach Therapy delivers expert occupational therapy to people living with disability across the Hunter and Central West NSW, including the communities that have been waiting too long for the support they deserve.

About Far Reach Therapy

Three people with a person in a wheelchair in the middle, smiling outside against a vibrant green and teal background. The woman on the left wears sunglasses on her head and a navy polo shirt, and the young man on the right wears glasses and a light gray polo shirt.

Born from experience.
Built for change.

Tom Waterhouse grew up in Nyngan, a remote town in Central West NSW where access to health services meant travelling hundreds of kilometres, or going without. There was no occupational therapist, no physiotherapist, no specialist within 160km. For many families, that's still true today.

After training as an OT and building his skills across Newcastle and Sydney, Tom returned to the region with a clear picture of what was missing. Waitlists were long. Service quality was inconsistent. The gap between what metropolitan clients received and what rural clients could access was impossible to ignore.

Far Reach Therapy was founded to close that gap. Bringing the same standard of occupational therapy that city clients expect to the people who need it most, wherever they call home.
